Propolis - helps to restore and balance moisture levels and soothe irritation. It’s extremely rich in antioxidants and vitamins to help protect skin from every day environmental stress and help even out blemish-prone skin.

Pro-Vitamin B5- is used as a humectant and emollient to help improve the look and feel of skin.

White Nettle - acts as a natural astringent which means it helps tighten and firm the skin, helping to balance oil production.

Ginger - contains gingerol, a biologically active component which has potent soothing and antioxidant benefits. These antioxidant properties help to prevent free radical damage, even skin tone, and protect against ageing.

Honey - rich in antioxidants to help protect skin from free radical damage. This nourishing extract is a natural humectant which keeps skin soft and healthy-looking and can help restore the natural vitality of your hair.

Best shampoo for my itchy scalp

I have an itchy scalp as a lot of shampoo affect me badly. This is wonderful and the best one for ages that I have tried. Would highly recommend.

This shampoo seems to be the only one that really helps with my sensitive, dry and flaky scalp. It’s very soft and gentle and smells lovely. You only need to use a small amount too so, it goes a long way which makes it very good value for money. I’d definitely recommend it.

Hard to beat!

I’ve had an itchy dry scalp for most of my life. (I’m now 66). I’ve tried many brands - different pricing, well rated etc. They’ve all done an OK job. But this one works, it really works EVERY time. I won’t use anything else now. The smell is lovely, you only need to use a very small amount to get a lather and it rinses out very quickly. Plus, I don’t need to use conditioner so much. Fab. Thoroughly recommend.

I've used the shampoo and conditioner over the past month. My hair is flat and very dry.

Great shampoo

This shampoo does not irritate my scalp. When my previous bottle ran out I converted to a brand I bought in a shop for a sensitive, itchy, dry scalp. That was a big mistake as all my scalp problems returned. I reverted back to SBC propolis shampoo....if something works for you, you don't mind paying that bit extra. I don't have any problems with the smell and it lathers nicely leaving my hair soft and in good condition. I use the matching conditioner too. I like the fact I'm supporting a British brand and have purchased other products from SBC which work equally as well.
