Why does Prolagel have a smell if it’s fragrance-free?

Prolagel is a fragrance-free formula, which means we have not added any perfumes or masking agents to alter its natural scent. The light smell some customers notice comes from the active ingredients, particularly Proline (an amino acid) and potentially Osmanthus Flower Extract, which can naturally carry an odour. Individual skin pH and chemistry can influence how the scent is experienced — some people describe the smell to be like chlorine, while others don’t notice it at all.
Please be assured that this is completely normal, entirely safe, and does not affect the effectiveness or quality of the product.
If you are sensitive to the natural scent, we recommend storing Prolagel in a cool, dry place. You may also find it helpful to blend it with your favourite SBC Moisturising Gel, to soften the natural aroma while still allowing you to benefit from Prolagel’s powerful properties.

Massage into dry skin on the face and body, paying attention to problem areas such as thighs, stomach and decollete. Can be used as a weekly intensive mask on the face or targeted areas.

The gel can be used with electrical beauty tools on both positive (+) and negative (-) settings (always follow manufacturer instructions).

Proline L. – A powerful amino acid that helps rebuild the skin’s structural fibres, improving elasticity and moisture retention for a firmer, smoother look.

Osmanthus Flower Extract – a calming botanical known for its antioxidant and hydrating properties, ideal for soothing tired, sensitive, or post-stressed skin.

Glycerin - serves to help strengthen the moisture barrier, keeping it soft and supple.

Standard 100ml-1000ml bottles:

Minimum 30% PCR packaging. All bottles and disc caps are recyclable. Wash first, leave disc cap on, no need to remove label. Please check your local recycling. Dispose of pump or chrome disc caps separately.

Jars (Body Butters/Moisturisers):

All jars and plain taupe lids are recyclable. Wash first and no need to remove label. Please check your local recycling. Dispose of chrome lids, or lids with botanical flag separately.

Airless packaging – (Serums/Moisturisers)

All white and frosted bottles are recyclable. Please check with your local recycling, and do not recycle if they require to be washed.
