How To Get Glowing Skin

You can’t beat glowing, radiant skin. If this is your ultimate skin goal, you have come to the right place.

Achieving a luminous complexion comes from using the right skincare and taking care of yourself. Highlighter helps too – but we are talking about that natural, healthy-looking glow! Discover how SBC’s Get Up & Glow Skincare routine can help you achieve your most radiant complexion yet.

Before we get into your skincare essentials, there are other ways to help promote natural radiance… improving diet, water intake and exercise plans are some of the easiest ways to boost your skin. Trust us, you’ll feel better for it too.

8 Steps to Glowing Skin

1. Cleanse

Cleansing twice a day is crucial for achieving that glow. Many people skip a morning cleanse, but a refreshing morning cleanse will clear your complexion of sweat, oils and dead skin cells. Our NEW Vitamin C Foaming Cleanser is brimming with vitamins and antioxidants to boost your skin’s natural radiance. Also containing micellar technology to gently lift away impurities and make-up at the end of the day!

2. Vitamin C Serum

We LOVE Vitamin C. It is the powerhouse ingredient to brighten your skin, combat free radical damage and tackle uneven skin tone. SBC’s highly rated Vitamin C Super Boost Serum is back – and as you loved it so much, it’s here to stay! Formulated with Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Oxysomes and Neurolight.61 G for impressive brightening-boosting power.

3. Moisturise

Dry skin looks dull, and a glowy complexion is all about reflecting the light. So, for a brighter-looking complexion opt for Vitamin-rich formulas and embrace that healthy, dewy look! Our NEW Rosehip Oil Moisturising Gel will replenish your complexion. Our signature gel formula is lightweight and easy to use without clogging up your pores. Instantly hydrating your skin, leaving it smooth, supple and beautifully radiant.

4. SPF

We recommend using factor 30 minimum – every single day! Yes, even when it is raining. Those damaging rays penetrate clouds and windows, so use your SPF as the last step in your skincare routine in the morning to keep uneven tone or sun-damaged skin at bay.

Don’t forget that caring for your skin is not limited to the products you use on top of the skin, there are many ways you can get a glow from the inside out…

8. Drink H20

We know you’ve heard it before. But it is the best place to start with improving your complexion. Our advice is to use a reusable water bottle, keep it on you at all time, and try and drink 2 litres a day. Water keeps your skin cells hydrated and healthy, so your skin looks more ‘awake’, plus it flushes out toxins in your system!

6. Eat Vitamins & Antioxidant-Rich Food

Not just key ingredients to put onto your skin. Grapes, watermelon, cucumber, berries and nuts are examples of antioxidant-rich food, which will help protect your skin from free radicals from the inside. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables (and cutting down on the sugar) will easily improve the appearance of your complexion.

7. Beauty Sleep

It’s called beauty sleep for a reason you know. When you don’t get enough sleep (it happens to us all at some point) it shows on your skin. Plus, your mood and energy levels. Try and get at least seven hours a night to keep your skin gleaming with health.

8. Move your Body!

When we exercise, we increase our heart rate. This means blood is being pumped around our body – enhancing our natural glow (it’s not just sweat) and encourages the removal of toxins. It’s also a real mood booster too – when we are happy, and we smile, we glow. Try doing 30 minutes 3 times a week minimum, think of it as 90 minutes out of an entire week exercising – it’s no time at all.
